My background has been in sales since I was 16 years old working for a furniture store in a small town in WI where I grew up. I have always been a huge Vikings, Twins and North Stars fan since the only T/V stations we could get were from the Twin Cities. I knew from an early age that I would eventually move to the Twin Cities. Personally, I enjoy working out, golfing and boating but I enjoy time most when I am with my family. I have been married to my life and work partner, Janelle, for 33 years and we have two beautiful daughters. Amy works for our business and Jodi is busy traveling the world.I got into Real Estate in 2006 just as the housing crisis was beginning. I figured if I could make it through that I could make it through anything! I spent 11 years under the Keller Williams umbrella as the Team Leader of The Paul Ekstrom Team. Realty ONE Group approached me in October 2017 about purchasing the first ROG franchise in Minnesota. I did a VIP tour early December in Irvine, CA (home office of ROG), and was awarded my franchise on 12/23/17. We opened our first office in Andover on May 4th, 2018 and have grown Realty ONE Group Choice to over 100 agents and staff in 2 locations - Andover and Alexandria, MN. We are licensed in MN & WI.
